Watering nipples

We will be receiving our first chicks next week. Our concern is using watering nipples. Is this a good idea for 2-3 day old chicks or not? Would we be better off using the standard water container to begin with? Your thoughts?

they work great, stay clean and easy to fill. Your chicks will love them. Just take their beak and tickle the nipple. They will look at it funny and start tickling away.

Please, please, please look up the member 'ruth' and read her journey and how to have healthy fully feathered, vibrant, healthy birds in two weeks. She knows of what she speaks. Look at our page, there is a picture of three week old birds outside in the coop at 50* healthy, strong, and vibrant. No medicated feed, in the dirt and outside in three days and no heat lamps. JMO.
