I have a week old baby chick that is not drinking on her own and is being treated for coccidiosis. To keep her going so hopefully she will perk up eventually and start drinking on her own, I've been giving her water by syringe. I know syringing can be dangerous but at this point, it's the only thing keeping her alive. When I back off, she declines. I'm using a ml syringe. How often and how much should she be getting? She weighs about 28 grams. Thank you!

I would direct oral dose her with 3 drops of undiluted Liquid Corid twice a day.

This is in addition to you syringing the mixed Corid water into her several times a day for 5 days. (Mixed Liquid Corid is 2tsp per gallon of water).

Photo of chick and her poop?

Use some of your mixed Corid water to make a soupy mash to feed her too.
A little young at a week old to be presenting with Coccidiosis, but not impossible.
