Watering with bleach solution?

I have a well system and as soon as the water is pumped into the house it gets filtered and bleach is added, can I water my plants with this?

I would fill some gallon jugs with the water, and let them set for 24 hours to allow them to gas off the bleach. But, if you can drink the water, it should be ok for plants.

It may not kill the plants but it won't do the beneficial soil organisms any favors.
If at all possible, I'd use the well water untreated.
The bleach can kill bacteria, fungus and even earthworms.
The fungus benefits plant root growth.
Some organisms break down organic matter unlocking the nutrients so they can be used by plants.

I'd agree that leaving the water to stand for as long as possible should drive off most of the free chlorine. If possible, a rainwater collection system may be a good option? Saves on consumption, filtering and chlorination.
