Watering

I had given up using the bucket with the red nipple for watering my hens. Most of the hens would not use it and were always thirsty. So I am back with the gallon jug, have been for some time now. Should I abandon the idea of using the bucket or is there something I can do to train the hens?

Are you sure they aint using what you got now? I was worried at first when I switched them to the cup and nipple waterer but soon found them doing their thing like nothing changed

You can try the cup waterers with nipples. My hens took to them fairly quickly. I had them on the tractor supply waterer.
