my freind told me they have only gotten one bad egg, ... i looked at them puzzled, thinking the only way to have a bad egg was if it was old. I have 5 girls and let them out every afternoon., all eggs come from coop, even if they are late --right back to coop. He told me he cracked it open the entire egg ran out like water, and thinking back i had one or two did that! What is up, is it bad?

I've had similar, where the white is very thin and the yolk is thinner and almost breaks open when you crack it in the bowl. This chickens eggs are bigger than any others thin shelled with rough painful looking deposits on them. Hope someone answers you., cause Id love th know.

Crack open a fresh egg. The white is sort of in two parts. There is a firm part that sort of stands up with the yoke, and a watery part. After a few days the watery part is absorbed into the white.

Den, in my case, the watery stuff is not normal. And the yolk is not like any of the other eggs. I don't put those eggs in the cartons for other people, but my dog thinks they taste fine. I think this kind of watery fragile, not so wonderful egg is what the OP is talking about.

When my hens first started laying they did this but after a week or so the eggs were back to normal
