Wax?

Is anyone using the duck wax? Is it necessary when using an electric plucking machine? How about for plucking ducks?

for plucking ducks I use Duck tape


For plucking Gorillas I use Gorilla Tape

I use duck wax on the rare occasion I process a duck for someone.. never used an electric plucker though.. so no idea there..

I pluck the majority of the feathers off by hand.. and cut off the wing tips since they can be a bit of a pain to remove feathers from.. then dip in duck wax and cold water til I get enough layers of the wax on.. then peel it off..

the wax can be re-used.. you just need to strain out the bits of feathers
