Ok, I have 5 GLW's and 5 SLW's and it's looking like I'm gonna end up with 4 hens 2 of each kind. I know there is no possible way to keep all these roosters so I need to start deciding what to do here...one group is 10 weeks old the other 9 weeks. What do you all do with your extra roos?
I would like to rehome them but not sure how to go about it. We went to a poultry auction a few weeks ago and 1 single rooster was fetching $16-$20 all night long...I just sat there with my jaw in my lap...hens weren't even going for that kind of money and they were nice looking birds...
DH refuses to eat anything we raise as he gets to attached so I'm looking for suggestions please...
