Wayne or Washtenaw County Fair - looking for show chicken and advice

Hi, my daughter just got backyard chickens and she would like to show this summer at the Wayne County or Washtenaw County Fair (in Michigan). She has 3 chickens - 2 isa reds and a brama. She was hoping to buy a female show chicken. We already has the experience of rehoming a rooster we got as a "female" chick, so not looking to go through that again - any adult breeders in the area? We are novices and have no idea where to start. Is there anybody out there who has shown at these fairs (or other 4H fairs in general) that could give us some pointers. Hoping if somebody is local, we could come out to your farm to meet you and your chicken and see how it is done.

Thanks for advice, I'm sorry, I can't seem to find the state thread? I searched for Michigan under forums, but couldn't find the main Michigan thread. Is there a link to it you can send me? Thanks!
