I recently treated my girls with Wazine 17. Is it necessary to wait a while before treating with Ivermectin, or can they be safely done one right after the other?
Thanks!

Wazine is best given to chickens when the weather is warm or hot, they readily drink the treated water, not so in cool or cold temps. Wazine acts as a large roundworm flush, it doesnt treat any other types of poultry worms.
There is residue in meat and eggs after use. Generally, I reworm chickens 14 days later after initial use of wazine before using another wormer, that used to include Ivermectin which I dont use anymore.
I found Ivermectin to be ineffective in treating worms, especially large roundworms.
Benzimidazoles are the best wormers to use without having to use wazine. Safeguard liquid goat wormer and Valbazen cattle/sheep wormer are mainly what I use, have been for years, occasionally Pyrantel Pamoate or Wazine in the summer only.
If you wish to use the Ivermectin, I recommend using it 14 days after the Wazine.
