Wazine use in laying hens

Please, could some knowledgable person address the issue of wazine usage in laying hens. It says on the bottle that it is not for use in layers and yet I have read that many, many people seem to use it as the first step in worming. Even if you give it the 14 day no egg wait, it is still not for egg layers. Does anyone know why? What does it do to the hen or future eggs that make it not advisable?

Wazine can be used with laying hens, there is a period of time when you can't eat the eggs.

Safeguard liquid for goats is a much better wormer.
