Our first experiance with chickens, we found some nice R.I.Reds about 1 year old-5 hens and 1 roo.
3 weeks after the move 3 hens have now started to lay.
We recycled the kid's play house and turned it into the chicken house complete with roosts and outside accessable nest boxes.
We converted a kennel to an enclosed run for when we are not around and an attached much larger run with a 6' fence
since we have dogs "& predators.
2 hanging feeders, one homemade for crushed oyster shell calcium supliment.
We have also got some White Silkie chickens. Were excited to have some new pets and fresh eggs! We also got a batch of eggs in a homeade incubator to hopefully increase our flock!
