Hmmm well I know I have a problem with coccidiosis here, but if she isn't sitting while the others are moving and is eating/drinking and no diarrhea then you may not want to give it. She just looks puffed up...this is a judgement call.

I buy Corid at the feed store in the cattle section.

Just wanted you to be aware that there was such a thing as coccidiosis in chicks and to evaluate whether you think she is ill.

Oh...rainy..well that is when I start having problems. Could be. I don't know if your baby is sick but I won't raise chicks without Corid on hand. It can kill within 24 hours if they do get it. It is good to have on hand but it costs $20-30 for a small bottle. They also have powder.

Ok i will get some which is better liquid or powder

I like the liquid because it is easy to measure. I have not dealt with the powder. They have different dosages so if you look it up on BYC be sure to check which one they are talking about.

If you need help with dosing ask on the thread but what I give is 9.5 ml (of the Corid 9.6% liquid) per gallon for 5 days, as the sole drinking water. Mix new solution daily. Don't administer vitamins at this time as it is a thiamine blocker.

It is also called amprolium and is FDA approved for poultry:
