We have 17 chickens and 2 bantam chickens and 2 muskovey ducks. Momma duck just hatched some babies and we are wonderig if we need to remove the babies completely or if they can stay in the fenced in area with the chickens. we have them in a dog house structure that the chickens don't usually go in. do i need to be concerned that a chicken will attach the babies. We do not have any rossters.

Hens can be mean to someone elses babies it maybe best to put mama and ducklings someplace safer till ducklings are around 4-6 weeks old by then they will be able to protect themselves better. Please don't take ducklings from the mama though she can do a much better job of raising them than we can.
