we built a coop(mostly). Is this enough ventilation? Missed anything?

woodlandwoman, yea I figured I'd have to close some of them up when winter comes. I figured the opening under the edge of the roof on the back (2nd picture) could be left open during winter so we made the roof overhang quite a bit. Also the side closest to the camera actually has a huge tree trunk just to the right out of the picture. Its a monsterous maple that I figured would give shade during the summer, but also block some wind. So I can probably leave the window open on that side. I "think" the wind comes from the left of the picture and would typically be hitting that left corner most of the time. So I'll probably have to cover the far side window, and maybe the front windows. Not sure about the front windows because that might make it to inclosed. Maybe I'll just close those when its going to be really really cold.
Jimmy, that is a fine looking coop there. Looks like something you'd buy in the store. I'm not sure what we'll do for paint/siding after this one is done, I'm staying more focused on getting it operational first. hehehe. I think I'll probably run cooler than you sense ours is twice the size and going to have just a couple more birds. So I'll probably be in better shape for heat, but worse shape for winter. I'm not sure how much their body heat will affect things though really.
mommyoftwo, I wish I had someone close with some half grown ones. To get chicks at this point would make some size difference between those and what we already have. No roosters for me. As much as breeding sounds like a blast, I despise noisy animals and despite being in a small town, we do live on small lots in riverdale, so the neighbors would not be happy. I know someone tried it anyway this spring because I could hear him for about a week. That was longer than I thought it would last, and am guessing either the neighbors or the owner himself got sick the noise very quickly. I think chickens are almost perfect little animals for humans to raise except for the noise roosters make. It seems like there would be a push to "create" a non crowing rooster. Sense it could be done with behavior changes and not even needing physical changes, it doesn't seem like it would even take that long to develop a rooster that although might have the ability to crow, almost never does. With the way making our own food is growing in such popularity, and people in cities all over the place looking to make gardens and raise chickens, the non crowing rooster would probably explode in popularity as soon as it shows up. What were we talking about again? lol. got a little ranty again :P
