we finally have a green egg! woo!

So Luna, my big gorgeous EE hen that's been here for about 3 weeks now (she's 14 or 15 months old or so):

...Finally graced us with her first egg this morning... and it's mint green, huge and perfect!

I'm very pleased, even if it's not blue... Am hoping that Solaris, the roo, carries the blue egg gene and that the offspring will lay blue eggs.
