Every little girl wants a pony! That's one fortunate little girl.

It'll be good for her to learn to take care of it. I know they can be expensive to feed and care for, but if you're gonna keep it anyway, this is a tremendous opportunity for you to teach her a lot by having her earn/work off the costs of caring for her horse. It will help her feel like she accomplished something and learn that animals take a lot of care, responsibility, AND expense. Feeding and cleaning up should also be included in her daily routine.
