Hello! I know it's been a while since I've posted anything significant but I wanted to share my good news and I'm not sure this is the place to do it but... yippee! After a delay and praying they'd arrive okay in a heatwave, our 15 Golden Comet chicks just got here safe and sound! We ordered them from Cackle Hatchery. I was pretty worried about them but they seem all right so far, just very tired.
The Welsummers are doing well (though I'd hardly consider them chicks anymore
) so I'm hoping when it's time to introduce them it won't be too bad. Tally ho! Take care!
