Whoo Hey Guys,
Well my Lovely silkie bantam Milly has been sitting for 21 days today and a few minutes ago I went out to check on her and we have a pip and I can hear the chick peeping I can't wait for her to hatch she is sitting on five silkie bantam eggs with a colour variety of black gold and white I ordered these eggs from ebay and I am quite pleased so far One I chucked as it was completely infertile and then 2 defo which have lively chicks one of which has pipped and the other three I am not sure It looks like they have developed but I'm not sure I am just hoping she can hatch at least one chick as she is being such a lovely and great mum so far and I want her to experience hatching for herself p.s this is my first time hatching with a broody hen and I am hoping I am doing everything right for her Is anyone else hatching chicks today and i will be sure to keep you Guys updated if anyone is interested!
