We have green eggs and brown eggs...Why?

That one in front in the 4th pic, looks like vestigial muff/beard, a trait from Araucanas, which lay blue eggs and EE's are bred from. Americanas, too, are another breed that lays blue eggs. When crossed with whatever, and the cross-bred offspring are EE's.

I have 3 EE hens, one has a muff, the other 2 don't, they all have green legs. I have an EE roo, half light Brahma, the has the Brahma color pattern, and a distinct EE muff. Very pretty. He has yellow legs, though, with Brahma feathering. I have some young pullets from the EE's, they haven't started laying yet. They may lay green or may lay brown.
