Howdy all,
Well, this is the continuing saga of my first batches of the year. We had 11 of 42 in the hovabator hatch at day 18-19. The Marsh Roll-X had many more fertile looking eggs that we took off the roller at day 18. However, by day 22, not a peep! Well today (day 23) I came downstairs to find 2 little chicks flopping around in the bottom and 2 more eggs with pipps, so it looks like the hatch has started. As opposed to my stupidity with the styro, I WILL NOT open this one until Tuesday (which should be about 48 hours since first hatch). One is a maran and the other a phoenix (the shels are pencil marked. Anyway, wish me luck!
