We have twins!

Hi all

It seems we have twins in my lavender pekin egg. They are due to hatch on Sunday. From what I have researched this isn't overly common and quite hard to keep them both alive. If anyone has any tips or help I would really appreciate it! This is only my second time at incubating eggs.

That's amazing, congratulations! How did you find out? Just keep them hydrated and make sure they eat plenty. I add a tiny bit of sugar in their water to keep the chicks'engergy levels high. Good luck with them! When they hatch could you take a picture for me to see, it's very interesting!

I'm more concerned about the assisted hatch having never done one before, fingers crossed all goes well.
