My DH had this great idea...since I have told him that most of you guys allow your chickens to do so, he thought that he wanted to do it. Well, I have to admit, I was terrified that theywould just run out the door and never look back. (I have never raised chickens before or been around them). They stayed all together for the most part and loved it!!! The best part was at night when the sun was doing down about 5:30pm. The one (whom is unidentified male or female) crowed them all in the house except for a couple. We had to stand there and keep them from running away. Then the one came back outside and shooed them in! It was so cool!

Hubby and I both work full time during the week, so they'll only be able to do this on the weekends when we are both here. We do not have a fenced in yard and they are pretty close to a busy road.

here is pictures!
***See if you can see my kitty hiding/stalking them under their coop***

UHHHHH maybe the gig is up on that one!

Ohh and definitely pic of the week with the cat.

I'll caption it right here:

"OK nobody move and nobody gets hurt"

How do I submit it for picture of the week???

I love the beak vs. whiskers comment!

I'm not sure what breed any of them are. I have asked on the "What Breed is This" board, but I have gotten so many mixed answers that I've realized that I'll just say Mixed Breeds. I really don't know.

Actually the cat didn't move. She loved to sit there and watch them all day. She wanted to pounce on them once and one ran over to her and she stopped. She just followed them around all day. So I guess the chicken ran away. LOL
