We thought he/she was a black copper maran

Hey everyone!
We bought this guy/girl from a feed store and they said he/she was a black copper maran.

What do you guys think? He is 4 weeks old
What is the breed? Bought him as a black copper maran but he has white on him.
What is the gender? We were thinking he was a roo. What are your thoughts?

It could still be a Marans. The white will probably molt out. The only other thing that could fit is a Marans cross olive egger.

Yes my marans often have white speckles when young, the sex is too hard to decide from this photo.
