I like that mix! I have magpies, hoping for some magpie/Cayuga and magpie/Pekin crosses next spring :love

And your rabbits are very cute :weetoo bad I'm allergic or I would offer to snuggle them for you!!!
I really want Cayuga! They are so beautiful. Long story, but our duck Ethel (Pekin) bonded to my goose Lucy. They have always preferred each other's company to that of their own spiecies. We ended up culling the other ducks and geese but Lucy and Ethel were just inseparable. Well, Lucy turned out to be a Ricky and we are having some major problems with him now. So we got Ethel a new friend as Lucy won't be staying. She was sooooo happy with her new friend. Now I feel bad that it has just been the duck and the goose, but she hated all the other ducks we had. All she card about was her goose. This is our first attempt at water fowl. If it goes well we might transition from chickens to ducks as drakes are much more quiet than roosters. That way our birds are self replacing.
As far as the bunnies... I'm sure they would love snuggles. It's too bad you are allergic! :(

I love the I love Lucy names! If you happen to be in Missouri somewhere I'll have a bunch of Cayuga babes next spring and am more than willing to share, haha. It all started with two little Pekins from the farm store and now I've got 10 running around haha.

It's funny how you point out how quiet the drakes are compared to the Roos- my roo is outside going insane right now and I can hear him all the way in the back of the house! Hahaha:lau
