We just brought home our chicks from the feed store. All seem fine but one. An EE chick that will get up and move around but seems wobbly and weak to me. Not as steady as the other chicks are on their feet. I have seen the chick move around. It drinks water but after being up for a very short time it sits down and lays flat as if it is extremly exhausted. Seemed to be acting the same as all of the other chicks in feed store brooder this morning. No pasty butt. Legs seem to be normal also. Is the chick stressed from shipment (they arrived just this morning and a note on the feed store brooder read hatched on 4-3) or is there something more going on here??? Please help. Any and all advice would be very welcome.
