Got a cuckoo maran chick who is only a couple of days old. She is very weak, too much to stand and eat and drink. She came with a chick order in the mail. I was advised this could very well be severe dehydration from the trip. I have been using a dropper to put a few drops of sugar water in her mouth every 20-30 minutes. When I put her back in the brooder, she just plops back down. Her eyes remain closed even when I am handling her. She does chirp occasionally when I am messing with her and trying to give her the sugar water. Any other ideas or suggestions?
