This RBLW had a really rough entrance into the world at 3am. It’s by far the smallest and having trouble with the left leg. During the assisted hatch, the leg was pinned against the chick and the right leg was out and kicking/pushing. Also, there was a tight band of membrane across the back of her head so there is a pocket of fluid trapped on her neck as well.
I took this video to show the kicking and leg behavior hoping someone can help me help her before it possibly gets stuck this way. :(

Roughly 15 hours after hatch.
Thank you for any help!

It doesn't look too bad. I think she just hurt it. It's probably sore right now. Don't touch it much, and let it rest. Re-asses tomorrow. I think it will be ok once the bones harden.

Thank you! She’s a fighter!

Not sure if she’ll make it but she’s sure trying.
I have the 4 special needs chicks in a Rubbermaid bin alone for peace and healing.

Yes she was given warmed molasses mixed with water as well as SavAchick

she died around 5am lying in my bra, snuggled and loved
The other really weak one died in my hands around noon today. The back sleeper so I let her go cradled up in my hands in her favorite position

i Still have two very weak babies that I’m 50/50 on. One Isbar, one mixed breed. They’ve both been syringe feed the molasses mixture but won’t drink on their own at this point :(

Awwww. I'm sorry. You did the absolute best you could for them.
Why are they so weak? Did you order the eggs?

Yes and the Brinsea incubator contained all of the weak/assisted eggs so it must have been something wonky with the humidity
