Weaning age from mama hen

I know that anywhere from 6 weeks to older, the mama hen weans her chicks from her. They are now 6 weeks old and she has been furthering herself from them. My question is, what happens when she decides move on from them? Like does she just go in the big chicken coop and leave them in their box at night? Will they try to go with her?

When she weans them she will either just leave them or she will actively start chasing them. They won't follow her if she decides to switch coops usually.

Just watch things, sometimes mom can go too far getting her point across if the chicks can't get away.
