I saw a craft show episode a few months ago. In it they made little pillow-like dolls out of 'rags' (scraps of fabric or yarn), by weaving them on a cardboard loom.
I've made some simple little bags on these cardboard 'looms', and all you have to do for that is just wrap the string around through each notch til you reach the end.
I can't for the life of me remember how they placed the string on the looms. All I know is that it was a little more complicated than how I normally do it for my bags.
With the bag weaving, you just weave on one side of the loom, but with these dolls, it goes all the way around the cardboard.
Does anyone have any clue what the heck I'm talking about?
Maybe you've seen that episode too...and can help me with setting up the string on the cardboard. Something about backtracking so that you end up with little loops around the notches....I think
