Week old chick with parasites?

So my friend has chicks they're about a week old and one of them just pooped that today. What is it? A parasite? How should she go about treating it?

I think your friend also posted about this. Since the chicks are so young, I would probably consult a vet, and get a fecal float test for worms. The medications for worms may not be safe for such a young chick, so I would check with them. Wazine is used for only roundworms, but SafeGuard liquid goat wormer and Valbazen are used for most worms.

Is it something medicated feed could help with or no?

Medicated feed with amprollium is for help in building up a resistance to coccidia, not worms.
