We get some strong winds here in Colorado, there’s a fine line between ventilation and drafts with our coop. Here is our latest attempt to add more ventilation that is somewhat resistant to those bitter cold wind gusts.

Looks good. As long as air movement does not upset, and ruffle chickens' feathers, it is considered ventilation and not draft. :thumbsup

Thanks! So far the new ventilation seems to be working well. Humidity levels have pretty much equalized to a little over outside air with 4 birds.

The louvers on the internal vents all point away from the roosting area, so any wind gusts should disperse without ruffling any feathers.
