Weight Scale

Where is the best place to buy a nice weight scale? Something that would handle even large turkeys? I borrowed a friend's scale for my meaties this last time, but really need to buy my own. I prefer to shy way from digital (less to go wrong), unless someone here has a super-positive testimonial of one.

not sure where you live but we use a hanging scale we bought at menards. pretty sure most sporting good stores would carry them hope this helps

yes I have a hanging fish scale from the sporting goods store. You can just put your large birds in a sack to weigh, we use a bucket for the ones that will fit in it.

I too, use a 50# capacity fish scale. You hang a bucket or something off of it. The scale itself is small enough to put in your big pocket if you don't have tight jeans on!
