What? No, you only need one.

You can do either. Once you click the emoji thingy, then it adds the last colon.
:eek :eek :
(Pretend the space isn't there)
It automatically adds the last colon.

Some of them used to require two colons. Is that not true now?

I thought : lol: and : cool: did.
