Weird Black Rot on Toes

Help,

My hen has stopped laying, and has some weird black rot on her toes:

Anybody know what this is, and how I could treat it?

It almost looks bruised or broken. I am not sure what it is though. Is it flaking or anything?

You don't have up your location could it be frost bite?

has seen frost bite do that to a chickens feet before, the toes will most likely fall off (the bad part) but the chicken can function fine, just keep a check for infection until it heals completly.
