Weird broody behavior?

Two of my 7 month old silkies went broody this past week. Which is okay because then I can slip the eggs from the incubator under them. But I’m wondering why she would lift her butt into the air when I get near her. Both of them do this. One is more of a biter than the other, though she still lifts her butt into the air. Is this normal behavior or weird? I couldn’t find anything on google, or searching here, about it.

One of the pullets I have to physically remove from the nest to get her to eat. Is this okay or will it break her? I slipped eggs under her and they hatch on Tuesday. Should I just leave her alone to hatch them the last couple days?

Poof lifting her bum when I reach toward her. She did this when Floof, the other broody, tried to steal her nest. Poof just allowed Floof to sit on her head.

Thank you. I think Floof is going on and off broody. Is that a thing? She hasn’t been laying for at least a week now and has been biting every time I get near her. She sits in the nest all day unless I move her. If I move her she doesn’t go back to the nest until the next day. Then she’s back to sitting all day. She laid an egg today since I moved her out of her favorite nesting spot and into the maternity coop. Should I let her out and just leave her be? Since she laid is she no longer broody?

I wouldn't trust her with fertile eggs, that's for sure! Pit her back with the flock and let her decide what she wants

This is what she’s been doing. She also moved the eggs from the golf ball in the back to where she is now. The eggs she has are eggs that were laid a couple days ago. I was waiting to see if she would stick it out. Now I’m not so sure if I’m going to give her my incubator eggs.
