I have 45 chickens free ranging, one of the 45 has been acting awfully weird. This behavior has been going on for for a little while now, and I'm not sure if it's just because she may be at the lowest of the Pecking order. She walks around in circles, and allows people to walk right up to her and pick her up. She also is never around any of the other chickens, she usually is in the coop all day and sometimes comes out, but when she does come out she's never around the others. Just worried that maybe she has something or maybe it's just something normal? I'm not sure, does anyone have advice? Thanks!

All of our chickens let us pick them up, should be no problem there. She may be low on the pecking order and that's why she is away from the rest, my only question would be, do you know she is a She?

Check to see if she's under or overweight. It could be an ear infection causing her to be unbalanced there fore the circles. Make sure she's eating and drinking.

If She stops eating a great way is to mix late a feed with water to create a mash, or feed her treats like blackberries of other fruits and breads that she likes, good luck
