Weird Chicken Poop

Hi, my chickens have been pooping weird poops. Some look like they have blood in them, and the others are really runny. The chickens have also not been eating hardly and of their food which just started a couple days ago, they are also acting a little lethargic. They are Light and Buff Brahma hens I just got them this spring in April and starting laying about a little over a month ago. I have not had any problems with them before, although they sometimes just lay an egg sack but no shell which I though was pretty normal since they haven't been laying real long. I have some pictures of their poop below, any thoughts? Do they maybe need a probiotic? I had given them some apples from our apple tree could that have done something? Thank you

Okay I will try to get some today, we have a Runnings store by us is there a certain one I should get for them? Also should I be eating there eggs still or throw them out? Thank-you

I agree. I would treat them with Corid. TSC or your feed store should have it. Dosage is on the bottle. You treat the entire flock by placing it in their water for 5 days. No other vitamins or probiotics while treating but do so afterward.

The dosing is NOT on the bottle or bag, that dosing is for cattle.
You can use either the liquid or the powder, either will work, most prefer the liquid for convenience.
Correct dosing for chickens is 2 tsp of the liquid or 1.5 tsp of the powder mixed in a gallon of drinking water. The medicated water should be the only water they have access to, no puddles, ponds, etc.
Make the mixture fresh daily, treat for 5 - 7 days. If any are not eating or drinking well, or you know they are having bloody, mucousy or runny droppings, you can give those an oral dose directly once a day in addition to the medicated water. The meds have to get in them to work. Dosing for the oral dose is here:

When treating a bird for coccidiosis one can give an oral drench in addition to their medicated water. Here are the instructions:

Corid 9.6% liquid - Do not dilute

• Give 0.1 ml per pound of body weight orally once a day for 1-3 days.

or

• 0.02 ml per 100 grams of body weight orally once a day for 1-3 days.

Corid 20% powder - Mix 1/2 teaspoon powder with 2 teaspoons water.

• Give 0.34 ml per pound of body weight orally once a day for 1-3 days.

or

• 0.07 ml per 100 grams of body weight orally once a day for 1-3 days.

You can also give them some of the medicated water orally as well several times a day until they start drinking on their own, if needed.
