My easter egger used to lay green eggs with a slight olive tint. Now the color has been fading and suddenly she stopped laying for about a week and when she started to lay again, the eggs are now misshapen and have a white powdery coating on them. I give me chickens really good chicken feed.
Please help.

The left egg was laid 10 days ago, the right egg was laid today. My camera is bad

No worries pigment changes during their cycles are normal as are bloom concentrations "the white powdery finish."
Odd shapes are expected now and then too, lumps and excessive wrinkles are a worry but not slightly lopsided.
Nothing you can really do except wait on the next curveball she throws you. :)

Ok, thanks. :)

Well, anytime they "just quit" and restart most of the time it is due to stress.
Stress could be anything illness, predator, the sun came up lol.
They'll literally stress over anything, my point is that you'll see oddities quite often when the laying starts back up.

Oh, ok. The thing that might of stressed her where the crows, the chickens scream every time one appears. I'll try to figure something out. Thanks.

Oh crows are a blessing if you freerange but a curse if you use a run.
They'll drive some birds nuts, they're relentless if there is easy food to be had.

My chicken free-range. The crows are basically unnaturally huge here and they killed around 8 of our chickens when they were young, it gave the chickens PTSD. The only good thing about them is that the crows scare birds off prey away, I saw them maul an eagle once, it got away, don't worry.

Oh wow, yeah id say their presence would cause stress then no question.
I freerange as well and fortunately have a mutually beneficial crow arrangement.
If they abused their meal tickets though it would change quickly.
