One of my chickens laid this weird egg thing a few days ago and I was wondering what it is. Any ideas?

Has she laid any more?
That tail on the egg - did you happen to feel of that or cut it open?

Same hen as this one that wasn't feeling well a few months back? https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/lethargic-puffy-chicken.1286084/

All I can say, is this is likely a sign of a reproductive disorder starting to show up. Which one it can be hard to tell. With an egg like that I would lean toward Salpingitis which is an inflammation of the oviduct. If you have vet care, that is best. Sometimes antibiotics may help with infection, but long term the prognosis is not that good.

The tail thing was kind firm. I didn't cut it open. I don't think it's the hen that was puffy and lethargic. I think it's my hen that had a prolapse around Christmas. Is this kind of thing contagious?

No, it's not contagious.
I would just keep a watch on her, if she expels another egg like that, then if she were mine, I would start a round of antibiotics to see if that helps. Amoxicillin or Baytril would be my choice. Antibiotics are not a cure, but may prolong life.

I know which chicken laid it. I saw her just standing in the yard straining so I brought her inside and gave her a warm bath because she looked constipated. She pooped out some weird stuff.
The first two are poop and some tissue stuff
The third one is a strip of membrane with tiny shell pieces on it
The fourth one is just poop
The fifth one is an egg she laid with no shell
