Weird eggs!

so my hen just started laying and so far she's had 5 eggs. The 1st was tiny as expected... then she had 2 of them were double yoked and then she had this one.....what is it?

It does take awhile for their systems to get the process right and sometimes they can lay funky eggs. One of our hens laid something even stranger looking than that and I was sure it was a lash egg and she was going to die, but it was just a hiccup in the system and she continued to lay just fine and has never done it again.

To me it looks like a soft shelled/half done egg that got amalgamated into another egg coming through the system faster than it should have. I don't think there's anything to worry about.

Thank you for the reassurance!! I will keep an eye on her and see if anything else changes...
