Ok at first I thought I knew what this was but now I’m lost. I had this one hen originally with the issue but now 2 others have it kind of. It started as what looked like getting pecked in the eye and then infected, it didn’t look like coryza, she had a very clear wound with blood right infront of her eye. I cleaned it like any injury but put on an eye cream for animals too. It healed up after a week but she had a cloudy eye once she opened it, and now like 2 weeks after that her eye lid has sealed shut almost, over the past few days its been opening again but the pictures are what it currently looks like as of today. It’s been about a month sense and I thought it was an injury issue until 2 other chickens (a hen and rooster) got one cloudy eye too. The second hen has it worse then the rooster and the rooster kinda looks healed as of today. the original hen is partially blind in that eye but the second hen is like fully blind in the affected eye. I’ve looked up so much but nothing really fits. You wouldn’t know they had any issues if you didn’t look at them closely. They have no issues besides this, all are healthy, all have normal poop, behavior is normal besides the second hen being a little more skittish now that she’s blind. It’s so weird, it’s not affecting anyone else i don’t even know if it’s spreading or if it is a genetic issue? Sorry for rambling I just don’t know what the heck this is. I’m not worried for their health or dying, more so for the fact I’m dealing with something contagious.
