Weird foot puss things (not an abscess or bumblefoot)

Weird foot rocks

So I have a Barred Rock and she has not been roosting and she has lost a lot of weight. I saw a growth on the intermediate interdigital web on each foot. I thought they were an abscess so I took her to the vet and the dude just pooped these hard little puss(?) things out. He squeezed it like a pimple. He thought they could be gland secretions but there are no glands in that area of the foot. And there was one on each foot in the same spot. He is an experienced vet that has worked with chickens and he had never seen them before. He suggested some things to me to get her weight back on and get her feeling better and we sent her poo off to check for parasites. I washed her little feet and I am trying to keep them clean. I also consulted with a friend that has had chickens much longer than I have. and she didn't know either.

But what the heck are these things?

Do you have these still or did the vet keep them?

Was there any pus underneath them?

They look like bumblefoot scabs.

The vet kept them. He was curious about them. They came out clean. Her foot has a little hole but it was seriously like a pea sized black head that popped out.

They look like bumblefoot scabs.

Vet said it wasnt bumble foot. They were hard round balls that came out of the feet like popping a pimple.

The vet kept them. He was curious about them. They came out clean. Her foot has a little hole but it was seriously like a pea sized black head that popped out.

Do you by any chance have before and after pictures of the bird’s feet?

There was no puss underneath. The vet said it wasnt bumble foot. He pooped them out. I thought it was bumblefoot too.
