Weird laying habit of yellow golden hen

I noticed that my Yellow Golden hen layed her 5th egg in her second clutch this year. After laying the 5th egg, she moved another egg out of her nest about a foot away from the nest. Does anyone have any idea why this took place. She did this on her first clutch also. I am pulling the eggs from the Red and Yellow Goldens once a week and placing in incubator. If anyone has the same happening or knows of why she is doing this, it would really help my boggled mind as to WHY...

Now As Far As To Asking Behaviors Of A Hen... Remember 2 Things Involved- A. Bird, B. Female --- So Any Idea Of Ever Understanding What Why Or How Just Got Chucked Out The Window
