Weird Mushy Egg...i think..

I found this in the coop this afternoon.What is it from? It also looks like it came from my BRock Hen. I waited untill she was on her roost and took her in side and cleaned her backside with warm water. I then trimed the feathers around her vent. Was this correct?

That looks like an early egg. My geese lay those as their first eggs ever. Other than that, I have no idea.
