Weird neck injury

My chicken was attacked, it appears to have a neck injury, but is still ver much alive. It is trying to move its neck but cannot, it also has this weird mucus

You are certain she was attacked? By what?

You'll need to inspect her for any wounds, broken skin, etc. If you find any, then trim the feathers away from the wounds and clean them with saline, betadine or chlorhexidine. Apply triple antibiotic ointment to the wounds.

The mucous is coming from her beak? Does she have a tear in her crop?

Hello everyone, I have some bad news, the chicken seen in this picture, Sharold, has passed away. I am not quite sure what happened, or what she was attacked by, but I do know I’ll be hunting in the next few weeks. The only evidence of an attack were flight feathers that were pulled out and her neck being stuck in that position. Thank both of you for your help.
