Weird Pecking

Hi my little chikies in my brooder are pecking at the walls where i had spilled some water are they thirsty? Whats wrong ? Help?

no, they are trying everything out and it is a curiosity thing!

As long as they have access to water, then the previous answer is correct. They are curious and peck at everything.

I have two very nice watering stations for my chickens. However, if I spill some water from a watering can onto the dirt, guess what. They drink the water from the dirt. Go figure.
