My teenage hen started pooping poop two days ago that is normal in shape, but its small an its yellow in stead of white an it just looks weird

An that's the only poop I've been seeing only that poop from that chicken.. Is it a disease? At frist I thought she might be producing yolk an it's mixing with the poop But she's only 8 an 1/2 weeks old

I wouldn't conclude that it is a disease. Poo often changes in chicks. Diet can change and with that so does the poo. Or it can and does alter even on the same feed. My conclusion is not that it is a disease but just a change in poo.

Disclaimer - I am not a chicken Dr! Nor am I an expert in chicken sh-poo. Although, I rest my credentials on being called a chicken sh-poo once before.

Is she loosing weight? If you have two chickens of the same breed try picking then each up and comparing. Green poops can be a sign of starvation. Most likely it's nothing but if you are worried and want to do something give her a few drops of olive oil to lubricate her croop, The add some probiotics (I use ACTIVE CULTURE butter milk) for her gut, some pumpkin (canned but unsweetened is OK) and some cayenne flakes to reduce parasites and up her protein (to 19%). to boot her immunity.

hi there I checked my chicken health book and for her age yellow droppings could mean colcibacillos its common. however she would have symptoms of listlessness ruffled feathers fever swollen joints weight loss and yellow stool. treatments include keeping birds fed with high protein rations and vitamin E supplements.recovery in a week. but I don't think she has this disease. her stool does not look loose enough. other than that for her age I couldn't find anything else on yellow droppings. I think it would be considered on the normal side. I know its different but I don't think its an illness. I'd keep I'd keep an eye on her. if she starts to display more symptoms then I'd be concerned. I'm sorry I couldn't find any thing else. I also read respiratory illness can cause yellow dropping but you would see other symptoms associated with it. so for now just keep a watchful eye out on her and see if any symptoms develop. if not I'd say its odd but probably normal. I wish I could be of more help! I wish you the best! good luck.
