I didn't know where to put this, so I went here-
Can incubators hatch out chicks with bad immune systems or something?
I have one incubator that hatches out chicks and they do fine, but this other ones hatches perfectly healthy chicks and they start dropping like flies after day 5 of life. Really weird, I don't think its what im doing as the chicks hatched out of the other incubator don't oftenly get sick.
I've hatched chicks 3 times with the problem incubator and the same problem has happened around the same age of the chicks.

I'd consider genetics first. If it's it's same exact eggs in both though, I'd think one incubator isn't up to par
it could be genetics now that i think about it- I have chicks right now that hatched from two different farms- 12 from one farm and 24 from the other.
The 24 are the ones dying and the 12 are for the most part are doing fine, fat lively chicks. All hatched from the problem incubator.
