Weird question

I heard that if you dont have a rooster one of your chickens wont lay because she will be the dominate and act like the rooster..is this true?? I would think no..but I do have this one chicken who doesnt lay and everyone else is. This chicken sort of looks like a girly boy..so I could understand if she is confused..lol..she's not crowing so I think I'm good..lol.

That's not true. It CAN happen, but isn't par for the course. Sometimes in lieu of a dominant male, a female will take on the rooster trappings, and will act like a dude. Not usually, but sometimes.

Not usually. We have no rooster and we have never, ever had that problem. Sometimes a hen will get a little confused, but that is not at all normal.
