I will have to get an image later but we have a hen who's, well almost perfectly normal aside of this one weird quirk she does. She does not have wry neck as this isn't something she does all the time, nor does she appear sick in any way.

Her breed is a White Delaware.

Thing is everytime she drinks water, she throws her head back all the way. So her head looks upside down right on top of her body at each sip. It's very strange. I have tried to do some research myself but I can't find anything on it, and the only thing I get results is wry neck which she doesn't have. My only guess right now is that she may have some genetic mutation as she had this behaviour since she was a chick.

Have you ever tilted your head back when drinking water? That’s what she is doing. It basically straights the pipes so everything goes down easier.
It would make sense for her to tilt it straight like all chickens but, she tilts her head all the way back that the pipe technically is in the shape of a C, hench her head being upside-down. And it's the same bird. I actually have her marked to keep watch for the behaviour.

I have raised hundreds of chickens and several of them would tilt it all of the way back.
